1. WHY IS MY FPS DROPPING BELOW ##?

Infinium Strike can be a very GPU-intensive game, especially at moments when Freedom Strike is surrounded by hordes of Wrog in all four quadrants. If you have a mid- to high-range video card in a generation that is 12 to 24 months old, it is unlikely that you can play Infinium Strike on Extreme graphics quality without sacrificing smooth framerates. Try lowering your graphics quality to Medium in these instances.

Game Mechanics

3. WHAT ARE STAR CREDITS, AND WHY DO THEY MATTER?

Star Credits are awarded at the end of every mission completion, with bonuses for obtaining new Mission Stars for the first time or unlocking achievements. Star Credits are used to power Super Armor available with the TSF SuperTech in each mission. Spend them wisely!

4. WHY DON’T THE K-TURRET, ADVANCED K-TURRET, OR STAR VOID ATTACK WROG SHIPS?

The K-Turret, Advanced K-Turret, and Star Void are defensive measures. They auto-target and destroy incoming Wrog projectiles. As with any weapon system, they are not perfect and will sometimes miss their target. However, if you are struggling with those pesky Reapers evaporating your turrets, look no further!

5. MY USER INTERFACE DISAPPEARED, AND I CAN’T GET IT BACK...HELP!

You most likely accidentally enabled Photography Mode. By default, Photography Mode is bound to the P key. Be sure to check your keybinds if it is not currently bound to P.

6. MY CAMERA WON’T RESPOND WHEN I TRY TO SWITCH QUADRANTS, AND NEITHER THE INTERFACE BUTTONS OR KEYBINDS SNAP THE CAMERA BACK TO A TURRET BANK!

Chances are, you have enabled Advanced Camera Controls. This allows you to play Infinium Strike with a free-roaming camera for a cinematic gaming experience while still being able to use the keybinds and interface buttons to build and manage your turrets without altering your camera view. The bar underneath the Quadrant Selector in the upper righthand corner of the screen toggles Advanced Camera Controls on and off. With a controller, Advanced Camera Controls can be toggled with the back button.

7. MY GAME KEEPS PULLING UP THE TACTICAL OVERVIEW MAP. WHY?

By default, the Tactical Map is bound to middle mouse button as well as T on your keyboard. Be sure to check your keybinds if it is not currently bound to T.

8. KEYBINDINGS LANGUAGE

In Control Settings, if you are not using an English QWERTY keyboard, binding a new key to a particular function displays an English letter key of the corresponding keyboard key in your native language.
